We keep the record straight, so you don't have to guess
KeyCustody started from a simple, stubborn problem: organizations hand out physical keys every day and mostly can't prove it. We're here to fix that — quietly, thoroughly, and for the long term.
A system of record — nothing more, nothing less
KeyCustody is a multi-tenant platform for tracking physical keys, codes, and combinations, and for proving who had access to them, when, and why. It replaces the pegboard log, the shared spreadsheet, and the binder nobody trusts.
To be clear about what we're not: KeyCustody is not cryptographic key management, not a password manager, and not crypto-asset custody. It is a record of the physical things that open real doors.
Four things we won't compromise on
The record is sacred
A custody log is only worth something if it can't be quietly changed. Append-only isn't a feature to us — it's the whole point.
Boring where it counts
Security software should be calm, legible, and predictable. We'd rather be trusted than clever.
Built for the front desk
The person issuing a key at 8am isn't a security engineer. If they can't use it in ten seconds, we haven't finished.
One model, many rooms
Property managers, credit unions, and congregations share the same underlying problem. We solve it once, well, for all of them.
Let's keep your keys accountable.
Whether you run ten units or a hundred branches, we'd like to help you prove access — not just track it.
